A Paris-London Love Story

Two artists, two hearts, who met at art school and have been inseparable ever since.

A wonderful afternoon was planned for cocktails and lunch at La Palette in Paris (6th arrondissement), following a coffee break at the Luxembourg Gardens and a ceremony at the Paris 5th district town hall. This famous restaurant, a historic gathering spot for Picasso and many other painters, is adorned with colorful palettes hanging on the walls and shelves, a nod to its artistic past. Before these two painters and sculptors, many others had passed through, and the symbol of creativity remains strong. The food is simple yet amazing, and the ambiance is one I know well—having studied applied arts in the area myself!

Everyone crossed the Channel and the Brexit divide to celebrate the most natural and beautiful union: a girl from the UK and a Frenchman. Finally, Burgundy became their home, where they are raising a family and restoring a farm, having chosen to share their lives across two countries. Why choose one culture when you can embrace both and have it all?

A fun, artistic wedding — you can love the sophisticated and still marry simply, in a restaurant!
